Studio

High Definition TV studio

Composed of studio, 297.522~ in size, and control room, the studio is equipped with 100% digital devices. Starting from filming to recording, the whole production process can be assisted with Full HD system, 1920¡¿1080 in size. Producing and transmitting of programs are treated by all digital devices such as digital switch and digital audio console. Further more, a newly adopted audio producing system, Dolbi digital 5.1 CH, enables students to all strong sound effects to high definition image, which is vital to large-scale show program, drama, and theatrical performance producing. Control room can also work as main editing room equipped with wide range of editing devices like linear editing.

4 small-sized studios

Comprised of studio (148.76~) and control room, students can practice producing programs like sitcoms, conferences and news and make images even more dynamic with 3 EFP cameras and Chroma-key board.

Audio Studio

It is the sound specialized studio equipped with hard multi tracks, where which recording, mixing and mastering of all musical genres can be done.

FM Room

It is the place where students practice analog and digital sound making at the same time and the programs produced on campus are transmitted.

Dubbing Room

It is the place for dubbing the sources of images made inside the studio or outdoors including all sorts of video contents including movies, soap operas and animations.

Comprehensive Film Studio (under construction)

Expected to be completed by August 2009, this studio consists of one grand studio(1983.4m2) , one mid-size studio(991.74m2), and one set construction studio(330.58m2). It will be the biggest studio in Korea with multi-functional purposes not only for film-making and TV programs, but also for students' practice studio.

Editing LAB

Comprehensive Editing Room

Equipped with digital systems including switcher, 2 channel digital video effect equipment, digital VCR, audio mixer, CG and converter system-converting NTSC or PAL, it provides perfect post-production environment. In addition, central-controlled editor which cuts down editing time makes editing even more efficient.

Nonlinear Editing Room (120 systems)

A variety of special effects can be inserted in editing without tapes. Instead of recording tape, a hard disk is used to manipulate and edit streaming images in the unit of video clip. Also, 2 and 3-dimensional graphic images produced in computer graphics can be easily composed.

10 Pre-editing Rooms

Located in Giyegwan, it is the place where student-made tapes are cut and edited, and various kinds of videos and audio data are prepared for comprehensive editing.

8 Personal Editing Rooms (Video)

It is where terrestrial, satellite and campus CATV, DBS and many other program produced by students are transmitted. Now live broadcasting is also possible in HDTV studio and small-sized studios.

4 Personal Editing Rooms (Audio)

It is the practical training place for sound editing and simple recording.

Special Video Editing Room

Installed with Paint Box, students can create a wide array of FXs required in post-production stage and carry out analog and digital video editing simultaneously in this room.

AVID Editing Room

It is a computer room to teach students about the Avid system widely used in the fields of movie and broadcasting. Containing a total of 45 avid units, the system is furnished with Media composer Adrenaline, a new model.

Midi Room

Equipped with digital audio mixer and multi-recorder, it is the sound-specialized studio for sound sampling, recording and editing using computers

Audio Console Room

It is the sound specialized editing room where students learn basic audio mixing techniques using editors like Nuendo and Protools and 5.1 channel editing is avaliable for the students to use.

LAB

Computer Room (19 rooms)

Located in Giyegwan and Doekseonggwan, 19computer rooms are open to students 24 hours and 7 days and students can practice with Premier, Photoshop, Visual Studio, Sound Forge, ProTools and SSI.


Language laboratory

It provides a high-tech learning environment where debates and open discussion are held.

Theaters & Practice Rooms

Outdoor concert Hall

The Large-scale Outdoor concert Hall with 1,100 seats is the place for preparing, producing and watching big shows including festivals, performances and club activities.



Concert Hall/ Little Theater

As a theater-styled lecture hall, it is the place for preparing, producing and watching small-scale performances including visual and audio works, rehearsals, concerts and club activities.

Rehearsal Hall for actors and performers (musical/dancing)

It has a wall of mirror so performers can rehearse checking their postures and facial expressions.

Applied Music Dedicated Practice Room

Equipped with a wide array of musical instruments, students of Applied Music Deparment can practice whenever they need to.

Master Control Room

Makeup Rooms

Separated Makeup Rooms for men and women are almost the same quality as those at the broadcasting companies. CATV, DBS and many other programs produced by students are transmitted. Now live broadcasting is also possible in HDTV studio and small-sized studios.
